  • Restart your device after each update.
  • Make sure you are using iOS 11.
  • Make sure FlickType is available in the list of 3rd party keyboards within the settings.
  • Make sure direct touch is enabled. This is not related to direct touch typing, but instead, the direct touch that sometimes appears in the rotor. To select the direct touch option from the rotor, first make sure the FlickType keyboard is the currently selected element and then perform the rotor gesture making sure you don't accidentally select any other screen element.
  • Ensure full access is enabled: Go to the keyboard section in settings, tap on FlickType, and switch enable full access to on.
  • Ensure direct touch typing is enabled. Go to VoiceOver settings, typing style and ensure direct touch typing is selected.
  • Make sure you are using the latest version of FlickType, check if there's an update available.
  • Do you have a Bluetooth¬†keyboard¬†connected? Please disconnect your Bluetooth device.
  • Toggle VoiceOver on and off.
  • Zoom: do you have zoom enabled? Zoom uses the same 3-finger gestures that FlickType uses and this can cause some issues for now.
