Better word accuracy
Ken Clarkg
What I found myself doing was that I was misjudging the height of the keyboard, by that I mean when I thought I was typing letters on the top row I was on the middle row, I had to learn to type a little higher.

Thanks. I have tried to day to be more accurate and it definitely makes a difference. I guess knowing the screen fills the whole phone, not just bottom half has helped.

I would say I get about 60% predictability on text input, is that about what others are getting? It seems the longer the word, the greater the predictability which makes sense to me as there are less words to choose from. 4 and 5 letter words seem the most troublesome. Does the app take into account the previous text one has entered and what the topic is about? Al

Cursor in half screen builds
Ken Clarkg
Sends these later bills now when I try to edit if I鈥檓 even in the iOS keyboard scream if I move my cursor to a different place by lien letter word and then I go into my flip type keyboard the cursor don鈥檛 stay where I put it I鈥檝e tried several times and it keeps going back to one word and I can鈥檛 get out of it I thought it should be that if you go on your iOS keyboard and you move the cursor
Sent from my iPhone I thought that the cursor was supposed to stay the same when you move from one keyboard to the other apparently not and does that make it rough to edit and article

Re: Issue with the app.
Richard, thank you for reporting back. We're happy to learn this addressed your issue, and hopefully others can also benefit from this workaround - Kimberly we would love to hear if disabling Control Center worked for you as well.
We are always striving to make FlickType the best possible productivity tool. Sometimes iOS throws us curveballs and it's only with our users help that we often find ways to work around these issues. Let us know if there are any other issues we need to look into! Warmly, Kosta

Ok I did what you suggested. I can now only launch control center from home screen. That seems to correct the problem.

Yes, I have this problem as well. I believe I was the first person to report it. Ashley asked what kind of phone I鈥檓 using. I鈥檓 using the iPhone 7 running the latest version of iOS and the latest FlickType build. The problem just happened to me again. I was in iMessage, flicked up to dismiss the FlickType keyboard, and the control center came up. I was unable to use the home button to dismiss flicktype. I had to do a series of holding down the power button, pressing the home key, and cussing to get anything to happen. Not sure exactly what eventually worked but I was able to bring up the app switcher, close out of everything, then reboot my phone. I love this app, and my hope is that fixing this problem will become an immediate priority, as I am afraid to use the FlickType app on lengthy documents or anything important.

Re: Issue with the app.
Hi Richard,
As mentioned in our reply to your App Store review, we've only heard of this problem when people try to use the flick gestures instead of the dedicated buttons to exit the keyboard, and there's nothing we can do on our end to completely prevent this from happening in that case. If you do not need to access the control center from all apps, you could actually turn it off from the iOS Settings, and still be able to access it from the home screen. Here's a relevant article: https://www.engadget.com/2014/05/06/iphone-101-control-center-getting-in-the-way-heres-how-to-dis/ Hope this is helpful to you. If you can't turn off the control center and are still experiencing issues, we would be happy to learn more about the exact way you perform the explore gesture to find and activate the "Next Keyboard" or "Dismiss Keyboard" buttons, and we have some ideas on how we could figure this out together with a special build of FlickType that we can send you through TestFlight. Warmly, Kosta
