Hello,

Remember, you must end your typing session before it will be entered into the dictionary. Once you dismiss the keyboard or change to the iOS keyboard, your name will be added. BTW, your names contain a lot of letters and are nothing like any common words. The text prediction should work very well... I occasionally get chick instead of chuck. š

Hi Chuck,

I read this before and in Fleksy once I manually typed my name and added it to the dictionary I could touch type it pretty fast and it would usually predict it correctly. This seems to not work in Flicktype so far, I'll try again, but so far I've been having problems with that. Regards, Sieghard

Hi Ashley and Jessica

Thanks for replying to me. When I enter testflight, I am not presented with an update option (the "open button" is there though). How do I get to update? And more importantly, how do I update to Flicktype beta version 142 (I am currently on Flicktype beta 137). Looking forward to hearing from you. Regards Sameer

Opinion of changing things in the app
Ken Clarkg
note about flicktype I really like flicktype I believe it is a real good app that may have some things that have to be fixed and maybe you could use a half screen option as far as other things like bills and whistles I donāt really believe in that too much because this app is written to writing and you can get so far away Iām not with bells and whistleās that pretty soon the app lost its simplicity and his usefulness. Thatās just my opinion and take it whatever itās worth but Iāve have seen too many apps that got ruined because they got over complicated with stuff that was way beyond what they were designed to do. Hi Sameer,
Jessica is correct about updating. For shortcuts, we do plan to add this functionality soon but as of now, we have not added text replacements. Please let us know if you have any other questions, Ashley

Re: Punctuation preference
Hi everyone,
As we further develop the app we will be adding more customization functionality but for now, we've found this to be the best ordering for the largest number of people. Thanks for the recommendations! Ashley

Hello, there is no longer a switch to loch FlickType in landscape mode.

As long as you have the screen rotation unlocked in the control panel you can simply rotate your iPhone into landscape and FlickType will follow. Chuck

Hello,

Try typing bore accurately. I found the the predictions were not as exact as I got faster with FlickType because my typing gut sloppy. Once I paid more attention to my typing accuracy, and tapped the screen closer to where the letters should be, the predictions were almost flawless. Chuck

the best way for me isĀ to use the flick down and hold. If you have issues getting that to work use the dismiss button at the bottom right corner of the screen.
