Feature suggestion - Automatic disabling of Zoom when using FlickType
Field, S. (Scott)
Hi A suggestion to assist partially sighted users. When the FlickType keyboard opens, disable the IOS zoom, when the keyboard is dismissed, enable it. I don’t know if IOS allows this to be controlled via third party apps, but it would neatly solve the issue of FlickType being incompatible with the Zoom gestures. Zoom isn’t required when FlickType is on the screen anyway. Regards Scott Field

Edit gestures
Field, S. (Scott)
Hi It would be great to add the edit options to the gestures by the usual voiceover gesteure of two fingers turning an imaginary dial. Turn to get to edit, then flick up or down with one finger to move through the edit functions such as select, select all, copy, cut, paste, etc. when in select, two fingers left or right select’s the word, three fingers left or right the remaining text in that direction. Furthermore, carrying on with the dial gesture concept, one could include an entry that toggles the two finger swipe gesture between character, word, sentence and paragraph. Suddenly FlickType would become a powerful document writing tool for the visually impaired. In the above scenario, the dial will have the options “Actions, edit and Movement Size (or something similar)” where actions is the standard FlickType set of one finger gestures for changing word, punctuation or emoji. Sieghard, The way you described your vision of the autocomplete feature was exactly how I envisioned it. A few days ago I stopped by the Flicktype Web site only to discover that this feature was already suggested in exactly the way I envisioned it. <grin> David Goldfield, Assistive Technology Specialist

Hi guys,
As far as I know Spanish is also supported, no idea wether fully or partially. At least I can use it with more or less success. The keyboard display is the English one, though, lacking for example the letter ñ or a way to type diacritical symbols.

Hi All,
I can confirm that I am having the same issue in messages. To prevent the frustration, I will change to the iOS keyboard. I am sure that Kosta will find a solution in the near future. Eileen

I too am having the first problem, but not the second. As for the problem in messages, I also use the flick up and hold gesture as a work around.

Re: problems in messages
As Kosta stated, they are working on the half sized keyboard, for now finding the Send button by touch is not all that difficult and certainly an acceptable work-around.

Hi Chris,

I can definitely reproduce your first problem you mentioned. What I had to do was find the send button by exploring by touch. Or you can find the next keyboard button then you should be able to find the send button by swiping.
