Paul, remember you can also get to the more symbols using 3D Touch on the more numbers keyboard. Assuming you have a 3D Touch device of course.

Thank you Paul. Just to confirm, did the text disappear from FlickType, or also from the underlying text field? And when you say you scanned through the text, do you mean using VoiceOver cursor gestures or within FlickType?

 I am aware of that. Doesn't address the problem for anyone who would like to see the text...just not in a font that can be read by anyone without vi from the other side of the room! 

Also I have had a few instances of typing lengthy emails, but when I swipe FlickType keyboard off screen, none of my text has transferred to my email!  Is this a known issue?  Reliability is paramount for many of us I’m sure.
